Orientation week

Your First Week in Sydney

Your Orientation starts on the first day of the Term.

Orientation is a very important first step on your pathway to the University of Sydney and attendance is compulsory. 

What Happens During Orientation?

Ensure your enrolment and personal details are correct.  

You’ll find everything you need to know for your studies at Taylors College Sydney.  

You’ll learn important procedures you must follow from the beginning of Week 1. 

Your Orientation will include information on:  

  • Degrees and Modules
  • Student Support Services
  • Programs and Facilities
  • Life in Sydney
  • Policies and College Requirements 

You’ll get your course timetable, book list and subject descriptions. Be ready to have your photo taken for your student identity card too.

What Should I Bring to Orientation?

  • Sydney address in English
  • Sydney phone number 
  • Your passport 
  • Confirmation of Enrolment (have this on your mobile phone) 
  • If you are under 18 years old, have your caregiver/guardian’s name, address and phone number.  

Plan Your Trip to the College

Please check your Prearrival emails for the Orientation Venue.  

Check out Google Maps or Transport NSW for the best mode of transport, and departure times.
